The Keys Event

This past weekend we created floral arrangements for an event that was set to have a San Francisco theme. We created several unique buffet table arrangements that reflected the many well known areas of the San Francisco Bay, including the Spanish Mission District, Italian North Beach, Ghiradelli Square, Chinatown, Japan Town, and Wine Country.

We dressed each of the cocktail tables with a small arrangement which was finished with a little cable car for a fun San Francisco touch!

For the North Beach themed station on the left, we designed a lush arrangement of red flowers with touches of white and green. The container was a tall curvy shaped vase with a burgundy leaf wrap and twine at the bottom to resemble a Chianti bottle.

For the Wine Country themed buffet on the right, we designed a tall container wrapped in birch bark to look natural and rustic then filled it with a lush, dripping arrangement of red roses, burgundy tulips, red amaranthus, and red grapes with lush ivy woven throughout.

For the Japan Town arrangement on the left, we filled a lower black container with a few tall blossom branches arranged in an Ikebana style

For the Chinatown buffet station on the right,  we placed a tall clear vase with a green interior leaf wrap. The floral arrangement was contemporary and clean, yet full of horsetail reeds, red orchids and roses with accents of greenery

For the Mission District buffet station we placed a tall terracotta vase filled with a loose, but round shaped arrangement of yellow sunflowers, colorful traditional Mexican paper flowers and yellow mini roses with touches of greenery.

For the Ghiradelli-inspired dessert station on the left, we filled a tall glass vase with colorful candy and placed a lush arrangement of hydrangea, Gerber daisies, and tulips.

Lastly, for the Wharf-inspired station on the right, we designed a tall clear vase with an interior leaf wrap which was then draped it with a small fishing net. The arrangement was full of orange wild flowers and grassy accents to give it a beachy look.
