Rosewood Sandhill Wedding- Modern Green & White

This is one of our favorite weddings this year. We got to work again with the great team of Rebecca Reategui Weddings & Special Events for one of our special client's weddings this past June. The look was to be modern and clean but still have a romantic and soft feel. Gold was added to the palette to warm it up and black was added in the reception area to bring a modern art deco look into the ballroom.

Now we wouldn't be able to share this beauty with you without the amazing talent of Larissa Cleveland Photography. The photos are absolutely beautiful and capture the feel of the night perfectly. They really do show off the florals and the beautiful event decor that Rebecca Reategui pulled together for this wedding.

Here are our favorite shots from Larissa: (more photos on our Facebook page)

Real Weddings: St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco

This opulent and glam wedding took place at the beautiful modern St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco. Rich colors of purple, fuchsia, raspberry with custom made mirror vases and high-end flowers set the tone for this lavish affair. The wonderful Morgan of Morgan Events, as she always does, put together a beautiful concept and an A-list team of vendors. Thank you to Tara of Arrowood Photography for the amazing photographs. Without them, we wouldn't be able to share this fabulous wedding with you.

Trends: 2013 Color of the Year

Drum roll please......its Emerald Green! The 2013 color of the year is the magical, mysterious and enchanting color of Emerald Green. It evokes the feeling of youthful glamour when you wear it, elegance and status when used in home decor and an enchanting "regal-ness" when used for a wedding or an event's table design.

Here is some inspiration we pulled together that we were drawn to and we hope they inspire you!

Emerald Green is great as a textile or container accent for a wedding or event because it is hard to get that real Emerald color in a flower. Try using bright colored flowers like fuchsia orange or yellow to add a fun pop of contrast against a Emerald Green linen or vase. Or if you want to go all out green you can go with Chartreuse green flowers like hydrangea, parrot tulips, viburnum or ranunculas.

Once you start looking at Emerald Green inspirations you will start noticing the color everywhere!
